Ocean Ship 2nd time

liked this place the first time so much that went w da family....
We tried a variety of other dishes, but felt the first time one was better...
I was a bit late lar.... $%&^$& work... Reached there ard 7.30... arrrghhh! but ok...good thing was they ordered some food to eat first.
The same thing we ordered was shark fin w scallop, marmite chicken ...nice le nice le.. the assam sotong... mmmmm like the tom yam paste I get ...
But tonite.. the chef veri the hamsap... the fried rice, lotusroot n veg veri the salty leh... had to reject.
One thing about this place is that they dun waste food.. so when we told Airene, she was a bit the reluctant to take the lotus root back in... so I told her... OK FINE... leave it here I'll finish it...
then she was like.. errr... then I said. ok i understand lar your policy, but...it's realli salty.
Nahh.. u see ? ALL the other dishes we sapu right ? so in the end she accepted..
Dessert time... We decided to try out their peanut broth n red bean paste... the red bean one they put a dash of santan...EWWWWW.... Santan rancid liao.. not nice lah...
BUT THE Peanut....... Faa Saang wu... fuuh.... At first I was hesitant, but then i took one spoonful after coaxing... Wahhhh best!!!!!

It's nex to Crowne Mutiara KL. I went in n checked out their buffet spread. NICE ler... quite impressed. They had more sashimi, FRESH Oysters, unagi... I'm SOLD.... Gonna go there soon.
Price: lunch RM 43.07 NETT

Business hours: 12-2.30pm, 6.30-10.30pm

9 of us went for this All U Can Eat buffet dinner.
How this goes is.. U can order from a list, and then they bring out dish by dish to you. Like going to a restaurant, only thing is you can order unlimited portions from the menu.
OK here are the tips!!!
1. Do bear in mind... that there are 3sections, whereby you can only order ONE type of cooking. The 3sections are - Fish, Crab, Sharksfin soup.
we chose steamed fish w ginger, salted egg crab, sharksfin soup w dried scallop. EXCELLENT choices... The fish is super yummy!!!!
2. one of our mistake is that we took too long to look at the menu. What you should do is... Quickly tick some dishes and then submit it to them first. If u want to order summore, you can do so later... Cos they haf veri little kitchen staff. Most of the dishes we had we delish... so u can order them also.... fuuhhhh their assam fish slice ... wah the charp... super yummmy ok... we ordered rice .. hahah!!!
3. DO NOT attempt to order too many of their noodles/rice.... Not unless u're noodles/rice kings/queens.... if u wanna try you can order 1/2 type... and the portion shud be for 30% of your table guest.
4. their dessert... We tried their sea coconut, Longan pudding, and they haf mixed fruits also...sorri lah no pic. But nice. We liked it. The sea coconut drink was wif some grated lemon. very refreshing!!!! order lar... can finish one that one... small portion oni... hehe!
Staff were friendly... [patient n efficient... ok lar mebbe cos not much people ...But better than Chuai Heng which I went over last weekend....
Guess that's about it lar. Head on over to Ocean Ship.... by end of this MOnth ...that leaves oni tomolo night n Sat lunch. please please call before u go... book d place first. My advice is ... find out what time they open, n then be there earli....
Oh yeah hoh... their address... Haiya... check it out over at the last pics. even haf directions to go. Unsure, just buzz me ok....

Kept da girls waiting whilst I did some marketing wif mom.
Had 'brunch' wif two high skool mates in Chuai Heng,1utama.
Lovely dim sum, plus they had discounts on certain dim sum. If u go during weekdays it's 50%, during weekends it's 33%.
However, wa liao... their service SUXXXX max lar. The waiter who came to take our initial order was soooooooo the darn impatient wif us man... can't wait to take our orders,
Dun expect to see their staff smilling from ear to ear greeting you.....

This is like my... 6/7th time to Kim Gary. Got introduced to it first time in... 2002?? in the Sg Wang outlet... Since then they've mushroomed.... got one in Pyramid, midValley... errrr where else ar... Oh yah... latest one is Curve ler....
I love their Yin Yeong *coffee+tea* or wat locals call it Cham.... mmmmmmm
Their cheese baked rice is the kapauuuuuness...
But tonite I decided on the stone grill. nice lar. I just didn't like the sizzlinggggggg n the smoke.. Baru je mandi...
Rekomended the supreme mix for fren. She liked it. Another fren n her bf ordered their fave the spaghetti w pork chop n tomato sauce....and honey pork ribs.

Food n company was great la... but the service hoh... hmmm... One of the waitress there muka is the masam one leh.... like ate lemon liddat...

Was recommended by this place by a pal of mine who goes to Curve n eat quite often.... So I decided.. Why not ??
It's a Vietnamese outlet. I'm not a fan of basil, so when my pal intro-ed, I was like... errrr.. no thks.. not a fan of basil, but this place.. the staff are realli patient n friendly... u just tell them wat not to put in your food and they'll do so....
I tried the Pho Brisket... mmmm clear soup... yummy!!!!

Sad bit of news... Meaty House, whom I've gone to like... 4/5times late last year/early this year...
Has closed down...
If you fancy, u can go to Euro Deli in Damansara Kim or Meaty House in Taipan....
