Superbowl at Ikano

Was in IKANO today for lunch and wondering wat to haf.
Walked in front of Superbowl and thought, ok lar check it out!!!
Liked the interior (clean) and canteen style. Decided to pop in and check it out. Had a look at the menu and walked over to order at the counter.
Had chicken rice n cham ping. Was disappointed with it. Sent it back.
They managed to fix it and bring my rice. my Cham got back to me 10minutes later tasting better.
Overall - 6/10. pricing is ... OKAY la.. complex price. Service sucked.I liked the interior.food is not fantastic but ok. some local fare during lunch
Will I go back again ? I think i will consider lar. The dishes at the teochew porridge counter seemed nice. Hope it's not cold cold already. If you've checked it out before, do drop a line or two here, tell me what you think ? What shud I check out?

Had dinner at this Japanese restaurant in Pyramid. First time there was I think.... 3years back wif my family for the Sunday buffet. Veryy impressed with it.
I think after that I've only been there 2more times,
So tonight we went there to celebrate a friend's birthday after being assured that it's one of the best restaurants in Subang/Sunway area.
The food was great. all of us enjoyed it.
Thing was... We were amazed, on a Monday night, it was PACKED. Good thing made reservations.
since it was packed, service was a bit the slow oso. We waited 5mins before someone attended to take our order for some other snack.

Today last day of CNY already.
Hope all of you had a great time enjoying the food and also meeting up wif relatives/friends.
I haven't been doing much pigging out of late. Seems like slowly dying already this blog. heh!
Am still alive. Makan sessions will prolly come on when friends come back to visit.

Had lunch at Bel Pasto today. Fren's mom brought me there.
Ordered Set 2 -
Mushroom Soup/Soup of the Day
Spaghetti Primavera (vegetarian)/Spaghetti Vongole/Hawaiian Pizza/Penne Arabiata

Took the mushroom soup, veggie spaghetti,drink
Fulamakkkkkkkkk!!!!! when the mushroom soup came, I was BOWLED over OKAY.... serioussss... I'VE never seen GENEROUS amount of fresh BUTTON Mushrooms in the soup before..... *Drool...
Was thinking of sis and Mei Yen and Boo and J liao.....
Lapped it up in minutes... ahahahah!!!! aunty was looking at me and saying...W ah you can drink hot soup hor... ahhaahahhaha!!!!!!
now I kinda regret finishing it so fast (I could've licked the bowl oso...)
THAT...itself is worth going for ler.... set 2 is oni RM 12.90++... the mushroom soup (ala carte) is RM 6.80 la.
VERY WORTH IT ITELLYU....
Came back, straight away call my sis/makan kaki...
this place is closed on Tuesdays.
So.... Shall we go one of the weekend lunch ???   '
I think all the makan kaki shud gather n go there.... email them in advance... tell them we're bloggers... see got disc onot... ahahahaha!!!! mebbe give us bigger portions oso... hahahaha!!!

Sis invited some frens, then mom decided to cook ler. Wah... quite a lot to do oso, but then ... when the food finish cooking, semua shaddap... Sedappppppppsssssss siut.....
Just tested the soup. I'm deciding to stay for dinner first, then oni go out.. kekekekekek!!!! Can u guess wat clear soup it is that's so the sedaps?
And the treasure pot... wah lieuuuuuuuuuu

Food tonight ... no porker pork involved.. It's a surprise, cos we'll usualli bug mom... Aiyoooooo Summore year of the Pig... but then... wah liao... just like this oso ... i think can tambah nasik ady... nyek nek nyek!!!!

Like this place....

Foodyumz will be taking a break.
It's good in a way lar. Been pigging out so much til friends have commented that I've gained weight. Boo hoo. Tak boleh lar like this. Oredi I'm so big. lolx.
Anyways, I'm still around. Still lurking in one corner reading your blogs,. keep them coming...
Oh yeah... The other day I was at MPH checking out...Star has come out wif a hawker guide - whole of Malaysia. Fulaueh... not bad leh... Wait lar... I see when I kennot tahan, then me go n get it, and then ajak my makan kaki to explore.. ekkekekeke!!!!!

Steamed this dish in the morning for mom sis to take to work... hehe! so good hor me ?? kakakaka
Note: This a non-halal post.
1Paket of minced pork (or you can substitute it wif minced chicken) - 300grams ??
sesame oil
soya sauce
pepper
salt
corn flour
eggs
Mix all of it up and steam it
U can also put in salted eggs if you want.
Mum gave it thumbs up... hahahaha!!! Though I tot it was a bit dry after that...
Sis (I didn't see her when she took it to work) but when I saw the pot, she took half of it...hahahaha!!! must realli like this dish.
Now sis has requested to do the steamed eggs (salted egg, century egg, chicken egg) errr... I dunno how to do one ler... I think it shud be the same ?? hellppp!!!!

Think think think... since I hafn't done much cooking lately, need to brush up.
Cooked this today evening, so that we can all bring to work tomolo.
The 3main important things:
garlic, button mushrooms, pork
marinate wif LOADS Of pepper, sesame oil, salt, soya sauce,
heat wok, throw in oil,then garlic...simmer simmer, pork, add water, karamel sauce,button mushrooms let it boil slow fire.
Tadahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

had lunch wif some mates at this place.

It's located upstairs a vet... ok not TOO appetising...haha! but food is good.
Service was excellent. Waiters were refilling our cups (dunno what tea was that, tasted like it was rice tea liddat...got some grainy taste)
place is squeaky clean. They change the plate of the stove very frequently (to avoid burnt)
We ordered ox tongue (yummy.. try it), pork belly, kimchi hotpot (nice soup)
Total bill came up to RM 183 for 6 of us. Not badd lar...
OK This place is a bittttttt difficult to find if not familiar wif Hartamas area. (Wished KY can draw me a map)
It's TWO roads behind True Fitness (the gym)
