Came back from work... Thinking of what to fix for dinner dy... Something simple, yet not maggi mee... Hmmmmmmm let's see what we haf at home.....
Canned tuna....pasta.... mmmmm
Aih.. no canned mushroom soup n brocolli  (
Ok ok... nemind...
AAaahhhhhhhhhh got clams.... nyek nyek nyek.....
Reached home... Found bro downstairs... YAY! Can make him practice some cooking... Asked him how to do the simple simple pasta with olive oil. I think it's called Aglio Olio or sumfin liddat (Aiya... Me main makan oni... where got know how to cook one??)
So he said...achelli can put anything.
Ok lar so checked the cupboard got what.... Tuna - check, pasta - check, canned button mushrooms - YAYYYYYYY (bonus)
mmmmm ok took them out. Handed it to bro. Nah.... make for me... *tee hee*
Then as he started to sautee the tuna, I suggested why not put in the clams too... kekekek! He was like... can.... but ... a BIT OVERDOING it righhttttt??? hehe! ok la ok la.... dun haf such an expensive dinner.
Turned out really nice (we boiled the pasta wif chicken stock.. hehe) -Bro was like saying...Ehh.. not bad ar....nice oso...simple,easy to cook (abuthen?? hehe)
See the bowl of pasta ? before n after pics. Took me only 5minutes to devour a huge sum.... NICE!!!!!!!
try ler... I think cooking time oni took less than 15minutes.

Just Heavenly Launch

Am in part of this floggers mailing list and was invited by Just Heavenly for their launch in their new outlet in Epicure (this white building which also houses Chef & Brew) in Medan Setia, Damansara Heights, so I tot... Why not... I've heard loads about them (even tried their Heavenly Choc cake 2years back) so I (dengan thick skinned-nyer went...)
Walked in, wah... banyak nyer orang... I didn't even know a single soul there....
Errrr .... decided to sms Boo from masak-masak, she was so nice to come get me and intro me to the rest. Wahhhhh all oso wear nice nice one...
Got introduced to WMW, Jackson, FBB, Jason, Lyrical Lemongrass, Soo Yin, Mavis - Nice meeting all of you for the first time...
p/s- Nigel/Alan (if u ever pop by) - Nice meeting the both of you in person. eeehhhh... sorry paiseh bring two bunch of bananas to the launch (
But I'll definitely come by again to get more of the Choc Durian... SUPERRRRRRR ler.... nyummm as well as try your other cakes. wahhh after that really haf to exercise harder ady.. hehe!

Sis had read on KYSPEAKS about this SUPER chun siew yuk that 'melts' in your mouth in Jalan Nyonya.
So we headed there lunch time earlier....IT'S chunn larrrrrrrr... Price is steep... RM 12 for one strip. Pic shown here is 3strips so that plate costs RM 36.... but it's nice lar.....
We ordered chicken and duck n the veg too, but that's nothing great lar....
Mr/Mrs Yong... we SHUD go there.....Really nice lar... I miss the siew yuk ady...

Food Crawl

I was at Bukit Tinggi Klang earlier this week wif a friend, and then we were at this cafe called Samcoluck.... i think... aih the card is in my purse (lazy to fetch it)
Anyways.....
Was telling my friend, should organise a food crawl there one evening...... ehehheheh!!!
Itinerary
6pm - dinner at either a Ramen shop/japanese restaurant
7pm - Lamb chops in Samcoluck (it's super delishhhh) OR we can just be there for dinner
8pm - loads of hawker stalls in that area. I love the 'chu-chap' soup there as well. can go there for some soup
8.30pm - Fried chicken in Klang Jaya (opposite Bkt Tinggi)
9.15pm - back to Bukit Tinggi for tong yuen/Yu Yu Ice
Interested ??? Let's go one Sat night....

Italian ristorante - Buonasera

And so, last night we went to this place for makan. It's a new Italian restaurant...
Walked in, had this 'Italian' feel... hahah!!! no lar... the only thing italian about the place was the mat sallehs...
Sat down, ordered.... I spotted the Pumpkin soup, was so excited... Then we ordered, the fler say dun haf....
Cheyyyyyyyy Then pal had earlier seen the artikel and said.. okay... Rosemary chicken...
Guy: SOLD OUT!!
hmmmmppp... Apa ni???
ok then we ask him to rekomen.
In the end we ordered mushroom soup, seafood pasta, Enzo pizza for 3 of us.
ok ok lar the food... Not to say like... Super yummy.
then dessert. We asked the lady wat's nice. she said the choc ball is nice. So I said OK... I WANT that one. She was like.. ok... i will check.
Apa lar.... i told her NO... I WANT It... no nid to check..*chuckle* (so adamant huh this customer)
Brought us the choc ball and the tiramisu.
Foodyumz rating: Nothing to shout about this place lar. The food's not SUPER fantastic oso. I'm kinda disappointed at this place, with the price we were paying....

Greenery Teluk Gong

This is one place which we frequent quite often... our neighbour n our family. Uncle likes to go there cos the boss there same surname... kakakak!!! So go there to 'pong chan' lor. Food is not bad lar.
Tonight we went quite late... Ard 9...Apparently everyone was 'full' ady cos before that mom made a nice huge pot of soup,
Wahhhhh see the amount of stuff we had for the night...kekeke!!! I didn't really pig out lar... Wasn't feeling super gluttony... phew! had a bit of everything.
We had quite a bit of fish as well.. .four styles. Geng lehhhhhhh...
ooohhh dun haf Greenery business card lar... haih... but if u turn into the mini road that leads to the many many restaurants there, this one's the first one on the right side...

5 Things People Don't know About Me

I got this from Mei Yen n Ivy... hehe! This is wayyyyy overdue, so sorry... haf been really busy lar dears....
Here ya go....
1. I don't like to eat petai. ahaks.... yup!!! Despite being the foody... I really dun like that. My parents and cousin sister adore them (I think they're nuts... ahahahahaha) Ok lar ok lar... i know some of you out there love the petai too.... I will TRY to eat some ok???
2. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh another thing I don't like is basil.. kekekekek!!!!! Pet-sis shud know it.... i first tasted it when I was at this Vietnamese restaurant and they put it in the beef noodle. UGHHH!!! What a put off... It just ruined my tastebuds after that....
I know i know... hahahaha!!! Basil is one essential ingredient in Vietnamese food... haha! too bad loh...
3. I am quite a picky eater when it comes to noodles. Only certain dishes must be eaten with certain type of noodles. Like For instance, kuay teow soup - kuay teow (doh...), hokkien (Prawn mee) - the yellow noodles, char kuay teow - just kuay teow (and not kuay teow mee)
4. not a fan of spring onions unless they're cooked for a long time
5. hmmmmm must think of something I can't refuse..... ahhhhhhh!!! fruit pastries, especially Banana/Apple. If u find any, PLEASE let me know k ? ehheheheheh
