Clams & Olives pasta

Got home nearly 8pm and was hungry.
Decided to haf pasta. Found clams, olives, tomato puree & button mushrooms - ALL my fave items.
Nyum!!!! decided not to be greedy, just used clams and olives. For pasta there was spiral type.
Yay! easy to eat.
Took me only 20minutes to cook this.
Love it!!! mmmmm

Mrs Wong wanted to go there for dinner. She said had been ages since had BIG makan wor...
I wasn't a BIG fan of this place but Ok lar... Since ppl recommend give it another chance.
Last time I went there was AGES Ago ... Def more than 5years, and I wasn't the one who paid for the meal there.
Got there, the couple were already seated. Proceeded to order.
Left the ordering to them since I not 'expert' there ma...
They haf a limited choice of menu.
Here...
- ONE choice of crab - their 'signature' dish sweet sour chilli crab
- steamed fish
- fried rice (white rice)
- century eggs
-
And then of cos they had stalls selling satay & fried chicken wings
And so we ordered crab, fried rice, satay & chicken wings.
Verdict ???
U say leh???.............

Been a while since popped into Dome's.
Decided to try their stuff again.
WOW! Their prices haf shot up leaps and bounds...
Ordered seafood pasta.
Impressed (or maybe hungry) when the food came. A bit spicy for me though... And it was laden with too much raw garlic... Pooh!
Wud go back there again to check out their beef pie.... *drool*

BBQ Chicken, Taipan

First chanced upon it two months back. Was a bit excited as there's another new F&B outlet...
Chatted briefly wif the owners. Hmmm...
Tonight I had a chance to try it out. Ordered the jerk BBQ chicken. It's a set thingy. Whole leg + shrimp fried rice + coleslaw + 2slices of tomatoes.
Waited like 20mins for my food...errrmmm.... quite the slow lar, hor?
Am NOT a fan of raw spring onions as topping on my food, so a bit displeased, plus... AHEM... The spring onion had been chopped since god knows when. was all dried up. hurriedly picked it out and started feasting.
mmmm... I think they just dumped the onions, carrots and 'shrimps' and boiled together with the rice.
Chicken was nice. Had a slight jerky (jeruk?) taste. coleslaw nice too.
Saw the Pat Bing Soo and ordered a regular one.
When It came I was impressed. Had nata de coco, mixed diced canned fruit and choc love letters. MMmmmmm... it's like ice kacang. High class ice kacang. All for RM 5.50.pricing ok. But I loved it... hehee!
Service was good. I had the owner taking my order, and coming by to check if everything was ok.
Will def go there again to try their other stuff.
btw, this is a franchise, so service/food in different outlets may vary a bit ya....

A very happy new year to one and all,
This blog has been on hiatus for a .... god knows how long....
And it will be for now... Cos been truly busy at the new job as well as TRYING very very hard not to pig out, but WORK out at the gym.. hehe!
Wishing all of you a blessed 2008 and may u floggers/foodies find more new makan places with great company and may u continued to be in good health and ... every good wishes la zhung zi....

There have been some idiots online who steal/abuse others' work
EH IF U HAPPEN TO read here hor... Take note and don't be a sod....
Seek courteously permission from owners blog and give due credit.
Most of us floggers haf spend money and time in the food and in writing reviews.
(now u can ask your momma to say tenchu to me for teaching her kids manners on the web)
